Rebate Haus is holding their 1st annual “Share Warmth Coat Drive” ensuring those in New Braunfels who struggle, stay warm this fall and winter
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Rebate Haus is hosting a coat drive to collect clean gently used warm coats and blankets between October 12 thru 16, and October 19 thru 23 at the Rebate Haus office in Downtown New Braunfels. The community is invited to make a difference for those in need by donating to the coat drive, and helping Rebate Haus reach their goal of collecting 50 coats and 30 blankets.
“We are so blessed to be in a position to help others, and we hope the community will support us. As warm as we think it is, many of us have never had to sleep outside alone or with a child, and it doesn’t come to mind that for some families in our community, those conditions are a reality — the need for coats and blankets will be greater than ever before because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Share Warmth Coat Drive will get coats and blankets to those in need, for free. Everything we collect will be given to the Comal County Crisis Center, to help those who turn to this support center for free services and shelter.” said local resident and CEO of Rebate Haus, Meredith Marti. “Through this coat drive our hope is that families going through hard times, that call our community home, can be safe and warm this fall and winter.”
Rebate Haus is located in Downtown New Braunfels at 162 S Seguin Ave New Braunfels, TX 78130. The office will be set up as a donation center during the listed dates, between 10am to 4pm for all who wish to donate. On October 20th, we will offer hot cocoa for children, and hot coffee for anyone who stops by to wish us luck on our endeavor to share warmth in New Braunfels.
